About Coton Lodge
Unique and secluded, yet only ten minutes from the M1, Coton Lodge is set in beautiful gardens and surrounded by its own working farm. Although mostly arable, the grassland in front of the house is grazed by our Whitefaced Woodland and Llanwenog rare breed sheep.
The garden has been developed over a period of thirty years by two generations of the de Nobriga family. The original design was conceived to lead the visitor on a path of discovery, to offer unexpected surprises and to be enjoyed. There are many unusual trees and shrubs, and modern mass planting within formal box hedging is used to provide interest from spring to autumn. The style and atmosphere of a traditional English country garden is combined with contemporary ideas and regeneration.
Guests enjoy peace and quiet, breathtaking views, comfortable elegant bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and log fires in the winter. Ideal for walkers, a haven for nature lovers, an artist’s dream, there is something here for everyone.
